Ok, now that I found I can only get a 17 foot Standard Interior in White-Pantone Grey or Haze Grey, I have ruled White out, but supposevly the early 15 foot Dauntless before 1996 had the Pantone Grey on the inside, does anyone have an interior shot of their 1995 15 foot Dauntless? Also, does anyone have any pictures of a Whaler that is Haze Grey? I love the Navy Grey, but they won`t do that one, and it is dark!! Any pictures of the Dauntless interior and especially the Haze Grey photos would be very much appreciated :-) Thanks-Jack.

Jack,

As I have mentioned in the past, it is practically pointless to make judgments of colors, particularly whites and off-whites, by using CRT presentations and JPEG files.

There are so many variations to this method of display that there is literally no chance you can get a good reproduction of the actual colors.

There are dozens of variables which affect how the colors will be seen on your CRT, and none of these are likely to be in any form of calibration or alignment. This also applies to any digital image taken with a scanner or a digital camera.

If you wish to make color judgments you will need to make them on the actual boats and under daylight lighting condition. Anything else is just a waste of time.

Jack,
The haze gray (grey) is the color of most CPD boats, it is not Navy or battle ship gray which is darker.
IMHO a tan color would come closer to complementing your tan hull?? Hell, call Martha Stewart.

Jack,
I agree 100% with Jimh, I do a lot of digital imaging in both available light and infrared. No two camera/monitor combinations are the same. This also applies to camera/printers or any other ancillaries.
I am emailing some pics of my former lover, a LES from the CPD in haze gray. By the way if you see her tell her I miss her!!!

Agreed!! I notice major differences with pictures, lighting etc. Sue is still trying to talk Whaler into doing the interior in Tan, but if not, I am going with Haze Grey, I like the Grey, kinda medium color. Thanks to all-Jack.
