I keep my boat moored in Barnegat Bay in NJ. The motor only gets flushed with fresh water 2-3 times per season. once in spring during prep, once in mid summer and then once in late fall when I winterize the motor.

I have seen a product at West Marine called "Salt Away" it supposedly neutralizes or washes the salt away better than regular water.

Anyone have experience with this or another type of flushing product, or are we just making people rich with a product that isn't necessary.

All you need is the Backflusher on Ebay. Steve
