Got an email from tempo today, and they will be shipping low profile gas fill / vent caps in 2 months. Looks like those of us with the 28 gallon tempos will finally get them to fit well under the seat.

Low profile caps are available at Wal Mart for less than a pack of smokes, Steelhead.
They are labeled for lawn tractors.
