I would like to measure an existing bracket.

Does anyone located in the L.A. or the Orange County area have one, loose or on a whaler, that I could measure so that I could make up drawings and produce a copy of this seat mount.

Based on the post the bracket is not available from the manufacturer or whaler at this time.

I have one installed in my Montauk, but I'm up in the SF bay area. The shims and backing plate look easy enough to fabricate, but the seat mount will be tough. E-mail me if you are up in the area, and I'll arrange a time for you to come take a look.
