I left base mount for Humminbird transponder a "litle loose" for final adjustment. Now it is tulouse as in LaTrec. Can't remember if the transponder electronic part can be snapped back off, or for that matter how it snapped on, except that it probably snapped down. |

If it is the same type transducer as my old 200dx humminbird it can be snapped back up-It is made to pop free on impact and the center electronic part pivots upward like a hinge. You may be able to pull a little to snap loose or pry gently from underneath with flat screwdriver. |

Sounds like you just need to do the last bit of the install. http://www.humminbird.com/hb_Products.asp?id=27

Thanks, Chuck. You come through again. The manual is off at the coast, I hope, and I'm trying to get everything tunes up for a fishing trip this weekend. Good service from Humminbird, and I recognize the manual. |
