Dorset Yacht the uk sole importer for whalers tell me that the old round 2 pin dc outlet plugs are no longer available

1 Does anyone no of a source of these?
2 Does anyone know of a high quality automobile lighter socket preferaby splashproof

3 Any better solutions?

Chris- I like the Marinco 12vdc plugs. They come with a plastic cover to keep water out of the socket when it is not in use. In addition they are manufactured using thick hard plastic and stainless which seems to resist corrosion better than the conventional metal old style. I believe you can get these on line at Boater’s World as well as the 2 pin male /female plug and receptacles. Good Luck, Pete

I'm not sure what you want it for, but the West catalog has
two-pin connectors from West, Perko, and Cole-Hersee. The
the anchor light on my '97ish Montauk used the Perko plug
and an inline socket that West doesn't carry anymore (the
C-H may be the same). After replacing them a couple of
times, I just ran a single piece of Ancor boat cable from
the switch to the light. NO more problems.

If it's something like a cigarette lighter socket, I'll second
the recommendation for Marinco.
