I will need to replace the access port covers on my 20' Guardian. One clear cover for the fuel gage and 3 other port covers. Are Whaler ports of non-standard size/configuration? Are they available from most marine supply stores or do I have to purchase them from an OEM source? |

Jason, It depends on the age of your boat. Whalers from before the mid 1980's used plates manufactured by PYHI. Beckson plates were used in later years. There is much prior discussion of deck plates. Among others, see these threads of discussion: http://continuouswave.com/ubb/Forum6/HTML/000311.html |

Jay- I had to get some of them from whaler in order to fit right. The ones at the local boating stores just weren't the right size. I don't remember which one but certain sizes had to be special ordered. |

Just replaced all deck placks on an 86 18' Outrage..Purchased all from a local Marine Store (Beckson Name Brand) and none of them fit..Called Beckson and told them of the situation..In four days I had the new deckplates and I got spare "O" rings just in case..Everything fit and was good to go....Bill |

Think I'll just call Beckson right off the bat and save the aggravation. |
