Bought a 13' and have been sprucing it up. I wish to replace the faded decals that measure 18". Are they the correct size or had the previous owner done it wrong? I notice there are decals for sale on eBay of all different sizes and I want the right ones. Thanks.

I would recommend contacting your local whaler dealer. they have the correct size and style for your boat. the cost will be @5.00 more than an e bay purchase. I understand the decals on e bay are of dubious quality. the only other source would be the "draftmanswife" who does decals. I understand her work is first class. She is a regular visitor to teh Wave site.

My 13 is a 1979 and it had 18" decals on it when I got it. Per the Draftsmans wife the boat should have had 14" deacls from the factory.

I also got some smaller deacls for the trucks from her.

here is her contact info

Thanks for the help. I called my local dealer and all they did was check stock on 18". I don't think they could find, or had access to, the correct information. I'm still not sure which size is correct. Does anybody know for sure? When I find out I will have Jeff or "Draftmanswife" make a set for me.

Jeff,

There were different sizes for different models and some of the sizes even varied for different years of the same models..

My question for you is this: Do you make the original style along with the registration mark??

---> Boston (on one side)
Boston ---> (on the other side)
Notice the two sides are not the same... Port & Starboard were different on 99.9% of the models....

The original decals also had the Registered symbol "®" on both sides...!!!

I am just checking and would like to know what logos you offer and on what side the logos above are on as I did not list what side is what above....

This is not a trick, just want to know for sure what you are offering..

Thanks

I do have the Boston on opposiye sides for Port and Starboard. I do not put the copyright logo on my decals for legal reasons but could make some seperate any you may choose to put then where ever you care to.
