After completely stripping all of the wood from my console nad refinishing it, I realized that my console needed a redo as well.
I have completely sanded my console, and am thinking of using Brightside to repaint. Has anyone used this product, and is hatteras off white a match for an 88 outrage?

Also, what is a good method of filling where necessary?

I would suggest that you use the Interthane Plus made by Interlux. It is a two part epoxy paint and can be brush applied with spray like results. The relaxing agent used for the brushing application is great stuff (2333n I believe it is labeled) just be certain to maintain a wet edge and do not got back to touch it up.

Any fairing compound will suffice to fill nicks and scratches. For large holes and gouges, I used the West System Epoxy and mixed in the "micro-beads' to get the consistency that I needed.
