I have a crack about 5 inches long in the bottom right were the bottom hits the transom. It is about 16 inches up from the keel and about 1/4 inch wide and was caused by the trailer bunk. The boat has been out of the water for about two months so any water that would drain out already has. I suspect this has been this way for over a year as it was hidden by the bunk. Any repair advice would be appreciated.

There is a great deal of good advice on making repairs--along with a great deal of other good information about Boston Whaler boats--in the REFERENCE section of the continuousWave website. Hyperlinks are provided below:

After doing the repair I still am concerned that I saw none of that famous foam in the hull. I could see only about six inches forward and up to the dry well. Should I try to pump some kind of foam into the hull by drilling a couple of holes in the bottom and squirt foam in untill it comes out the other hole.
