I have noticed that there is scant mention of the Interlux line of marine paints on this forum. May I ask why that is and what are the downside(s) to using it for painting the cockpit of a '68 Whaler, besides the obvious of not choosing to re gelcoat it?
Thank you for any thoughts and suggestions that you may have as I am just beginning this renovation project.

Interthane Plus = great stuff.
I've used it and love the results.

I am a huge fan of Interlux products. I use Schooner and Jet Speed for varnish and have used their paints for some wooden boats. I have also used and loved their Interthane Plus for the mahogany rubrails of my john boat. Just awesome products.

I swear by their bottom paints and varnishes. Very happy with the products.
