newt	posted 03-02-2004 11:00 AM ET (US)         I know this is in the archives, but I am really lazy today and some of you guys have this committed to memory. What is the correct length for throttle/shift cables for a Montauk? Also, steering cable length? Thanks.
ratherwhalering	posted 03-02-2004 11:47 AM ET (US)             18' for the steering cable. Control cables depend on how you are running them. If straight from bilge to engine, 15' will work. If following the steering cable, then 19' to 20' depending on if you make a loop into the engine or not.
