Been having a little of a problem with my 2000 90 HP 60 deg. Johnson on my Montauk. It started missing off and on last two times out when fishing. Then it konks out and just cranks. Let it sit five minutes and it starts right up. I think it might be the Power Pack since it is inconsistent when it happens. There is the possibility it could be the stator. I have access to a set of new power packs but not sure if they are for my engine. Does anyone have access to a arts list who can tell me the part #'s for my power pack and stator. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe

If "anyone" has access to the part number, I am sure it would be your local Johnson outboard dealer and service shop.

Jim,
That's where it is now but they can not promise me the boat before I leave for vacation in Florida. Would be a real bummer to pay for a house on the water and not be able to have the boat there at the dock. I have access to a couple of new power pack units but not sure if they are the right part #. The dealer said that if they can not diagnose it 100%, they will swap out the power packs to see if that cures the problem. If it does not they let you bring it back for exchange. Shoot, I can do that if one of these I can get are the right ones.
