Rigging of control cables on sidemount controls on a Montauk, Carolina Skiff of custom console is of interest to me. Rebuilding '66 16' and could easily go with side mount control which I have an ETN for OMC. How are the cables and wiring harness routed. Down the side and under the side of the console to the tunnel? Assume the "handle" has a splined connection so angle of the control is adjustable.

Whoops, may be answering my own question. Angle of control for easy cable routing seems to expose WOOB (Whaler Operator Over Board) switch to a jamming angle of pull. Only part of WOOB recovered might be his belt loop with the WOOB cord still attached to the boat.
