Gene in NC	posted 04-06-2004 10:09 PM ET (US)         "84 OMC 15 smooth idle and stron at higher speed. Does't like transition. No smooth throttle response on transition. Must add "extra" throttle to jump over the bog and up onto higher rpm.
Bigshot	posted 04-07-2004 10:40 AM ET (US)             Do a compression test and if good, rebuild carbs. Do NOT run it that way or she will implode.
