I just bought the hull and put a new yamha 4 stroke on it , Now its time to break the motor it ,Do I run the motor on a small crarry on gas tank? or do I add some condisor to the tank and try it ? I have a water seperater on it be there may be a little water still in the tank. What can I put a added to the tank to make sure I got all the water out?? Thanks BZ

How old is the gas, Bob? It is my understanding that gas has a shelf life of 90-120 days if not treated with a fuel preservative. There are products like Waterzorb that you can pore into the tank to remove any water.

I'd put a Racor water seperator on it & just drain it when you see water in the clear bottom, until all the water is gone.
