Does Boston Whaler have its own touch up color or gel coat? If so, can I get it directly from Boston Whaler? I had a small gouge in my [2002] [V]entura and repaired with a gel coat from Boater's World. The repair is complete but I would like to have an exact match in the color. Thanks for any info. Larry

OC, I used Spectrum Gel Coat in the past with excellent results. Color matches perfect. Easy to work with too. Here is the site for them. Good Luck! http://www.spectrumcolor.com/default.asp

In the past the Boston Whaler company did sell gel coat touch up kits. I do not believe they currently offer them. The best way to determine this is to check with your Boston Whaler dealer.

As far as I know all parts and accessories for Boston Whaler boats must be purchased through their authorized dealers. The Boston Whaler factory does not sell anything directly to customers, only to dealers. So even if a factory gel coat touch up kit were available, you would most likely have to purchase it through an authorized dealer.

Spectrum Gel Coats are available in a number of colors that match the hues used in Boston Whaler boats. On a fairly new boat like your 2002 model you should get a close match with the stock colors since your boat's finish will probably not have faded or oxidized much from its original condition.
