My 1979 Outrage 20' does not have a wash down. Can one be installed? If so how, where?

I am not familiar with your boat but I can tell you how it is set up in my 1997 21 foot Outrage. There is a fresh water tank mounted upright to the forward part of the console (inside). There is a stainless deck fill on the front of the console to fill the tank. There is a shower nozzle also mounted on the front of the console for rinsing off- sits in a nice recessed area. Pump is mounted to the rear of the console (inside). Nice, easy set up in my opinion- no long runs to make with hose or wires and everything is well protected. Impact on storage area is minimal too- everything is tucked against the very front and back of the console. The water tank is only 6 or 8 inches deep at the most. This was a Boston Whaler factory option- they did a nice job with it.
