I own a 1973 16' Boston Whaler and would likle to replace the stainless steel railing "tees". They are splitting and look bad. They appear to be connected to the straight pipe by pop rivots at the top and screwed at the bottom. Newer tees do not have the same fastening method. Any suggestions? Thanks, Bobby

bobby drill em out and use new stainless tees . the new ones usually fasten w/ allen heads . i did this on my 13 about 15 years ago and they still look great. although the set screws are steel. could never figure that out. but rust hasnt been a factor in all these years in the salt water. even if it were you could get new set screws at any hardware store. hope this helps john |
