I would like to know if the cable used in my broken teleflex safe-T helm (both spigots threaded) can be re-used with the new teleflex safe-T QC helm ? Is the tip of my old cable compatible with the quick connect system ?

I just replced my steering system on my 15 from the one you decribe with the threaded spigots. The Safe-T QC system uses a snap in coupling. I don't think they are compatible. The NFB helm may work. You can buy any of the helms separtely from Surplus Unlimited.
