Will a Morse single binnacle control/cables set from a 1992 120 hp Evinrude work with a 1992 70 hp Evinrude? Both have tilt/trim and ignition switch in the controls.

Thanks!

I don't see why not. I use a Morse single binnacle with my 1982 Evinrude 90.

The Morse control will work and the cables. The engine connecters may be the only different components, but I would be surprised if you had to do little more than disconnect the engine and swap out with the other one.

This is my second season using a Morse MT2 control on my 1988 Newport and it is the way to go. Solid, simple, funtional and classic.

Oops. Sounds like you do not have the MT2. I just assummed. Either way if the control works for on motor is shoud work for the other.
