CraigOlewiler	posted 06-30-2004 10:09 AM ET (US)         My 95 Dauntless 17 has a manual bilge pump. The pump runs, the impeller looks good, I disconnected the discharge line at the pump and backflushed with a hose through the hull port and water flowes freely out of the line, ran the pump without the hose and it pumps "some" water...not much head but not sure howe much is needed. I bought a new OEM pump, hooked it up, it runs with the same result - still no discharge out the hull port. Is it possible to not get enough current to the pump? Or am I overlooking something? Thanks for your response.
gtcway	posted 06-30-2004 09:21 PM ET (US)             It's possible that the wires are crossed. I hooked up one backwards once and had similar results. Very low flow.
