Has anyone tried to add hiking straps to their 4.6 Harpoon and if so how?

Shssaildude,

Yes, growing up a friend and I did add some droop straps. We used the same stainlees 2" strap brackets that are used to hold down batteries and gas tanks. Now I will say this, I weighed a lot less then. We used four pre-made Laser(Class sailboat) straps, two on each side of the centerboard trunk. No, they were not adjustable but did keep us in the boat.

there are better ways and I think making them adjustabe to a side control would be really kool, that is proably why I sail a Star now lots of little controls and stuff to tweak, break ,and repair.
