I have been reading the good reviews of those you who have tried and liked penetrol. I was worried that the penetrol might damage the vinyl decals (the one that says whaler) on the side of the hull. Anyone had any problems? Thanks for any info.

I haven't noticed any problems with it on the decals.

One of the best uses of Penetrol is on black rubber or plastic. I have also used it on the engine lower unit where the exhaust makes the paint look white. I doesn't hurt those surfaces and makes them shine. The white engine does seem to return upon additional use. Can't imagine it would hurt vinyl.
