timmyb	posted 08-11-2004 10:59 PM ET (US)         I have an 86 40 hp. yamaha,Motors starts runs on high idle won't idle. Is it easy to set Idle myself? Ans where could I find parts needed for engine? Plug wires,oil cap etc. Looking for a good source
Plotman	posted 08-12-2004 03:04 PM ET (US)             Your local yamaha dealer, or order parts online at iboats.com If your engine runs at high idle, but won't idle, try cleaning the carbs. Older yamaha carbs are very easy to tecarbed 2-strokes are easy carbs to pull and clean. Plotman
