rbc	posted 09-03-2004 07:38 PM ET (US)         I know this topic has been discussed, but have not found answer. I just want to replace light fixture on top of bollard type bow light. I have what I think is correct cheapo perko light. But there is a ridge of metal that runs around original fixture that will not allow new light to seat. Do I grind this off or do something with light to make it fit? Has anyone else used this perko light replacement? thanks
Rick Dewees	posted 09-04-2004 09:18 AM ET (US)             I wouldn't grind it off. I've seen a thick round rubber or soft plastic washer used as an adapter for the Perko that seemed to make a good fit between the two surfaces. I don't know where you would find one that size though.
