pibjim	posted 10-03-2004 04:03 PM ET (US)         I welcome all opinions for this question: I am working on a mid - 60's 13 footer. There are plenty of scratches and a hole in the hull. The question - must I remove all the bottom paint before filling and fairing? Thanks for any input. Jim
OutrageMan	posted 10-03-2004 04:37 PM ET (US)             Without seeing it, I would have to say, yes. Keeping the paint on would cause bonding problems with the fillers. Brian
