I hooked up my Tiny Tach today and it didnt seem to read right. The motor is a 1997 Yamaha 9.9 Two Stroke on a 14 wood skiff. It read around 2850 at idle and like 700 at wide open. I have it hooked into the block and spark plug wire. Anybody have any experience with these? Thanks!
