I want to spray my 20 footer. Im thinking of buying a 26 gal air compressor, 135 psi, 5hp peak, delivers 6.6 scfm@40 psi and 5.8@90 psi with a twin cylinder compressor.
I also want to buy a long sander (15 inch), polisher and cutter. Each tool has its own specifications on scfm consumption.
The most important is the spray gun, how high should the scfm be for a gun to do a nice gel coat? Should I buy a stronger compressor?
Its very confusing.

I would like to know too.

I was going to purchase one at Harbor Freight Tools, but they discontinued the 2.2mm nozzles.

I don't want to spend a bunch of money on a sprayer for a one time deal. Plus, I am only spraying the smooth interior of a 13. I am going to check with a local glass shop on cost to do the work. I already have ALL the materials.
