After an hour of reading past posts I realize there are many folks trying to do what I would like to, that is, restore an old Whaler. I have a 73 13' that I have had for 20 years, I've redone stainless rails, interior wood, electrical, repowered with a 30 Honda BUT I am terrified at the prospect of drilling holes in the hull to drain between the water that I know is inside. Once, I drilled a small hole and water seeped out, I quikly and amateur"ishly" fixed the hole and prayed (lol).

MY QUESTION, does anyone know a good shop in the Rhode Island or southern mass area that does this type of work? It would save my nerves to have someone professional do such a delicate operation on my 'baby'. Thanks for any feedback.

Nauset Marine is one of the oldest and largest Boston Whaler dealers. Contact them for references.
