Has anyone pulled up the fuel tank cover? I've got a 1' long soft spot along the starboard edge, and thought I might be adventuresome and try to take it up and see what I've got. Any advice would be appreciated. |

Has anyone done it, the answer is yes. I haven't but others have. Check out the reference section; continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/centerDeckRepair.html |

Wow! What a great article (and probably much more than I bargained for). Thanks for pointing it out. I had called customer service at Boston Whaler last week and they suggested that I drill holes 3" apart along the screw line, inject epoxy (like the West system),weigh heavily down until the epoxy cures, and cover with gelcoat. Since I've only got about 12" of softness (and it seems confined to the screw line), this seems to be the best approach. Has anyone had success with this? |
