Just wondering if anyone would kindly help me out with a question or two about the '95 Rage 15' 115hp omc boat that I just picked up. Previous owner has taken out the vro oil box and cut and plugged the lines near the fuel/oil pump and unplugged the harness from this pump. The engine is running on premix and runs great with periodically squeezing the priming bulb.- I reconnected the harness- this did not start the fuel pump, but the low oil alarm came on. This is probably why he unplugged it. But I cannot figure out how he thought the fuel was going to be pumped to engine? Would you know how I should go about bypassing this? Thanks. Any info will be greatly appreciated. |

http://continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/VRO.html The short answer is that the fuel pump is not electric. The reference article above describes in great detail how it works, and the bypass method the previous owner used sounds correct. I sent you an email with my other thoughts... |
