I was curious if any one could give me some ideas on mounting a trolling motor on a rage 15 what works best?
I am also curious how hard and what are the necessary steps for winterising this type of boat?

I started a post in the post classic section on mounting auxillary motors, I will add another way to do it there. If anyone has any suggestions please post them there.
Winterizing: DO NOT follow the BW manual! Draining will not remove enough water to stop serious freeze damage. Remove the outflow hose from the raw water strainer and use a funnel to pour antifreeze (about 3 gals, but I spill alot) till it comes out the exhaust. Everything else is pretty standard. For more details search this site.

You can follow the manual, but larry is right . I used to dump anitfreeze down all the tubes and then blow really hard to force it through the system, the same can be by using a manual bilgepump to pump it through. The key is to MAKE SURE that antifreeze finds its way through the whole sytem, and the only way to do that is to pressure it through One other thing I would recommend, dump extra antifreeze in the bilge to prevent sitting water from freezing.
