I'm rebuilding an old 69 13'. A few places I'll be working in the foam. Can I assume that epoxy will not damage the foam... If I full some spots with epoxy mixtures am I ok?

Also... There are no tow thimbles on stern. Can I open glass and insert 3/4 wood blocks then glass back to surface for structural strenth.

Thanks for any help

epoxy will work just fine.If you remove an extentsive amount of foam you can replace it with a two part foam.If its just a few inches deep you can add chopped glass to the resin.

Are you saying you want to install tow thimbles? Or that you want to plug the holes where they were?
