90, 22 ft CPD Divemaster.
Navy Seals boat has fwd console.
Overall, excellent unpainted hull.
Deck is fair. Bilge is dry.

This divemaster has a 60" dive door. Moving the console back to midships would interfer with that asset.
I intend to use this boat year round and either a pilot house or canvas covered helm is a must in the NW.

Ive often wondered why I havent seen BW bimini posts fastened to the gunwals instead of the deck.
With posts fastened to the gunwals, We are considering cutting the alum G-2 (I think) console in half & moving each half to the sides which would allow a center walk thru, the open sides of the consoles would be capped with plate, fastened to the sides, deck and posts.

There will be a total of 6 posts, 2 on each side and 2 vertical leaning posts near midships that would attatch to the inner corners of the spit consoles & deck yet leave enough room to walk thru to the bow. Nearly 6'6" head room.

The bimini top will be solid alum with angled eaves dropping enough to store electronics inside and still leave room on top to secure gear.
4, maybe 5 x 7 total area.
The entire thing will be enclosed with marine canvas, velcro & zipper windows/doors.

The thing I worry about is too much weight fwd might make this a terrible porpoise (sp). Yet, it doesnt seem like this is much more weight fwd than a 22 Cuddy has.

I can still be talked outa this project.
hehe.
thx in advance.
