Maine13SS	posted 07-04-2006 07:20 PM ET (US)         I am interested in installing a jack plate or set back plate on my 1988 13 Super Sport. I have a 1994 40-HP Johnson on it. After I install the jackplate or set back plate, will I need to modify my current steering setup if my motor sits farther away from the transom and possibly higher?
