After years of doing most of my own repairs finally met my match and put it in the shop, good thing, would of been chasing it down for a long time. After performing all the basic checks, wiring, kill switch, etc. still no spark to either bank. Assumed that both power packs and 6 coils and a relatively new stator wouldn't shut down the entire ignition system all at once, finally resorted to hitting the manual and searching related site posts all to conclude it was time to go into the shop. Would never have guessed the ignition switch was the cause, even the mechanic after 2 hours of testing and commenting the switch ohm tested good said it was not an easy one to trace. For $80.00 an hour and the cost of a new switch it was worth every cent to see her back in the barn, running again. Hopefully I'm within limits here giving a plug to the dealer, Capitol Equipment, Manchester, Ct., excellent, professional service at a fair price, not always easy to come by today.Don
