Recent replacement with an auto store equivalent per this website's archives. I notice a hiss of exiting pressure when I loosen the cap after sitting in the sun.Is my understaning correct, that the cap is vented one way--so that incoming air can replace expended gasoline, but no fumes, vapors et c can exit the tank? thanks, ron

Ron, use the search function. Enter "Pate fuel tank caps", minus the quotes, scroll down til the article marked 47%. Scroll down to the bottom to Bullbay's response. It is dated June '05 and gives the new cap part # from Napa. Works great for $6, rather than $24.95, including shipping from Pate. I don't know how to hyper link this response to your post. Hope this is the information you are looking for. zot. |
