Lots of wires and cables to disconnect but the removal of the center console and all the railings and RPS went well today. The cover came off of the shifter with a little damage...one of the tabs was difficult to pry off and I ended up taking off a small piece of plastic. I think a little silicone will keep it tight. I did end up with two frozen bolts one on the console where it attaches to the L-bracket and one of the front bolts that holds down the rail. I was able to drill those out after stripping the phillips head slots.

Where the front rail connects at the very front of the boat, that bracket is actually held down with two bolts (rather then screws). I am assumuning that there must be a metal plate with nuts on the other side as there is no place to access those nuts. I had to drill one of these out and I still have one of the broken bolts in the hole. I'm not completely sure what to do with that yet.

The motor comes next. I'm still not sure if it would be easier to simply pull all the cables and wires through the tunnel and remove with the motor. Or...disconnect all of the wires and the cables at the motor as well. I'm thinking it would be easier to pull through the tunnel, except that it is relatively tight with all of those wires and cables.

I've got a lot of pictures of the whole process and will be posting those somewhere soon. Thanks again for all the help. This can be a little nerve racking without the support!

Andy
