standard 17	posted 01-08-2007 02:59 PM ET (US)         I plan to replace the canvas on my '87 Outrage with Mills canvas. The canvas I have now was made by a shop in Tampa. Were the snaps on the hull installed by the canvas shop or by Whaler? My concern is that the snaps from Mills won't match the hull. Thanks Ted
tunawish	posted 01-08-2007 03:49 PM ET (US)             From my experience with my 78 outrage. I would say it will not match. I boat has the complete canvas option from the factory/Mills. All the hardware locations were supposed to match any new canvas I purchased from Mills...According to them. Well It didn't and I am forced with a decision to put in new snaps on the canvas or the hull. But I am first going to see how much the canvas does stretch once the warm weather shows....but I am not optimistic Just my thoughts Good luck ray
