I have taken over the reigns of a 17' 1969 Nauset and a '71 13 foot Sport that were left to me by my father who passed away a year ago. So many good times and memories were had on these two boats and I want to keep them in the best condition possible. The gelcoat on both boats are starting to develop some cracks, especially in the bow of the boat. I'm looking for either a good website or refrence on how to fix these cracks before they become a big problem. I'm a relative novice at boat repair and need something that is rather detailed to help guide me through.
My dad and I replaced the mahogany console in the Nauset about 4 years ago, however still have the origional console that just needs to be refinished, if I can patch up the gelcoat I will have a true classic.
Any help would be appreciated, the CW is such a great website!!!
