Recently on the recommendation of a diver friend, I bought a pump bottle of a liquid product called UV Tech made by the McNett Corp. My friend uses it to preserve the latex neck and wrist seals on divers' drysuits.I noticed when the bottle arrived that it describes itself as a "protectant and rejuvenator" that "beautifies and protects boats and gear." Among the boating applications listed are inflatable dinghies, fiberglass boat hulls, acrylic windows, vinyl and plastic seats, nylon and polyester bimini tops, weatherstripping, "and more." (However, it's explicitly not for glass. Also, it says it is not recommended for cotton, and may darken leather.)
Yet, when I google continuouswave.com I don't find any prior mention of "UV Tech." Has anyone run across this product? Is it as useful as it claims to be? After doing up my drysuit, I suppose I could take the bottle down to the boat to see how it does.
