Roarque	posted 06-25-2007 09:15 AM ET (US)         Any problems out there with Yamaha kill switches? My kicker is an 8 hp 4 stroke they call a T8. The little red button used to stop the engine has stopped working. When I remove the clip attached to the red lanyard, or when I push the red button, the engine does not stop. Defective switch? After one year? Warranty?
alfa	posted 06-25-2007 01:18 PM ET (US)             Maybe defective switch. But I think it's better to check wires with an ohmmeter or controler for continuity. With it you can also check the switch. My 0.02 Alain
