I am installing a CMC PT-35 TiltnTrim unit on my 1979 13 Whaler for my Yamaha 30 to sit on. My question is; there is a gap on either side of the PT-35 due to the curvature of the transom. Should I be concerned enough to build spacers, and if so, out of what? Thanks, mitch

Ever seen or used the wooden wedges used to replace an axe or sledgehammer handle? You drive them in place once the new handle is affixed to the tool head. Anyway, that’s what I used for my PT35 and my 30 hp – worked great. I’ve been known to put function before form. |

Thanks, Tadpole, I would never have thought of that. |
