I recently replaced my fuel tank and wanted to paint it to give it as much corrussion protection as possible. I ran across a reference to CeRam-Kote 99M which is an epoxy based paint with ceranic filler. I e-mailed CeRam-Kote and was contacted by Jim Edwards [ edboat@aol.com ]. He was extremely helpful and great to work with.

I bought a quart kit of this paint and it's great - hard as rocks. The mixing and stirring are "VERY" important as with other epoxy paints. It would have been easier to spray if I had the equipment but with Jim's help I was able to roll it successfully. Follow the directions!

Give me another week or 2 and I'll post pictures. I have the tank in with new hoses. I have to put the deck down, do a few minor repairs, attach the antenna, put the trailer fenders and guides back on then I'll be ready to test it.
