I have a 1963 13' whaler. I am in the process of bringing it back to solid-running state. I have removed the bottom paint, and will soon lay down some new gelcoat on the bottom. I know what I am getting into in that regard, and have had to sand/polish gelcoat before. The question I am really running into is regarding the nonskid. I would like to re-gelcoat the interior as well, and am uncertain if there is a technique for applying gelcoat to the nonskid. I am not terribly concerned with maintaining the exact nonskid pattern, but I would like to stick with gelcoat, and not enter the realm of other 2-part epoxy paints. I have tried to search around, but perhaps I am looking in the wrong places. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Peter
