I am going to pull my motor and need to know what size the bolts are that go into the flywheel. I assume that is where I will hook on to pull from. I assume they are metric and I don't have a selection to pull from to find one. Any ideas? The part number in my book is 309492. Any help would be appreciated.

What make, size and year is your motor.

Eyeball the size of the threaded hole. Go to a hardware store. Buy a selection of standard and metric threaded bolts. Test the bolts on your threaded hole until you find the proper bolt. Return to the hardware store. Buy the necessary bolts in the proper thread and proper strength.

Spend the money to get the hardest bolts available.

Grade 8, with the 3 dashes on the head if my memory serves.
