Just bought a boat with a Johnson Super Seahorse electric. It is two- or four-cycle? What is its horsepower? What is its year? The serial number is J2516864. Any help would be great .

If it says "Super Seahorse Electric," that means it goes back a few years. Post the model number and we can then tell the exact year and HP.

You should be able to deduce the combustion cycle of the motor from its construction. A two-cycle motor would be most likely for an older outboard motor from OMC.

... AKA: a hog (just fill the gas tank and take her for a spin- you'll quickly see where the nick came from).
