Just a quick plug for http://www.coastalnightlights.com/

I bought a set of their lights in the spring and love them. Their priced right and all hand built to last for years. I have mine mounted on the 170 with super velcro about 8 inches below the water line. The power draw from these guys is next to zero. I have the end of each one spliced into a 12 volt car plug, I then use my on board jump starter (400 amp) with 12 volt recp for power. It will power the lights for over 96 hours on a single charge.

The bait fish the lights raise is amazing. They also look pretty cool.

Best color is blue or green. White shows up all the "stuff" in the water, but feejer is right, within seconds, baitfish start swarming around the lights, and down here in FL, you can bet the snook won't be too far behind.

I currently have white but I'm trading up to green for next season.
