I was just looking at the great photos and job that Seth did on installing a new inline filter in the access hole on the starboard side. Has anyone ventured into the area under the port side step? I was thinking about getting some sort of watertight box that has a flange around the perimeter to surface mount it under the seat on the port side just like there is the access cover on the starboard side. I'm not sure if there is something under there or is it just filled with foam.

Hey Wally

I was told by Chuck Bennett it was filled with foam. This was after I asked about installing trim tabs. Chuck also said any removal or mods done to that area would cancel out your hull warranty.
